A swim and dive record board that keeps up with fast times

Swim records fall by hundredths of a second, and pool record boards are among the hardest to update. A digital swim and dive record board reranks every swimmer when a new time is entered, so past holders stay on the list.

Why it matters

Pool record boards fall out of date fast

Swim and dive boards often need new number tiles or lettering every time a record falls. Teams wait months for updates, or the board stays wrong. Diving scores and relay names rarely fit on the board at all.

How it works with History Showcase

Swim and Dive Records, step by step.

Three steps

  1. Bring your current record list

Share your record sheets in the demo. Rocket helps decide which events to load first.

  2. Enter a time, the list reranks

Staff add a new time in Rocket’s editor and the record board automatically reranks every other swimmer.

  3. Put it at the pool or online

Swimmers see it on a compatible touchscreen near the pool and on their phones through a QR code.

Setups vary by school; your demo confirms what yours will use.

Best practices

Tips to get it right.

Swim and Dive Records tips

  1. Use official meet results

Enter times from official results, not handheld watches, and note the timing system if relevant.

  2. Standardize time formats

Write times the same way every time, in minutes, seconds and hundredths.

  3. Check the deck location first

Pool areas are humid. Confirm mounting, power and connectivity for a touchscreen with Rocket before ordering anything.

  4. Recover old swim records

Search old programs and newspaper results for record holders who were painted over.
