A donor wall display that keeps up with your giving

Engraved donor walls are costly to change, so new gifts wait months for a plate. A digital donor wall display lets your advancement office add donors as gifts close and show the classroom, field or scholarship each gift made possible.

Why it matters

Engraved donor walls fall behind new gifts

Every new name on a metal or glass wall means another engraving order and another wait. Giving levels change, couples ask for name updates, and a donor who gave in stages ends up in two places. Meanwhile the wall says nothing about what the money built.

How it works with Hardware

Donor Wall Display, step by step.

Three steps

  1. Pick a setting donors will see

Choose a wall-mounted touchscreen, kiosk or branded WonderWall for the lobby or alumni space where donors visit. A free mockup shows the option in that space.

  2. Import your donor list

Send an export from your giving records or a spreadsheet. Our team helps structure it by level, campaign and year.

  3. Add gifts as they close

Once the display is mounted and online, advancement staff add donors in Rocket’s editor. Content is unlimited, so the wall never runs out of room.

Setups vary by school; your demo confirms what yours will use.

Tips to get it right.

Donor Wall Display tips

  1. Confirm name spelling in writing

Send each major donor a preview of their listing before launch. A misspelled name costs more goodwill than it should.

  2. Honor anonymous requests

Keep anonymous donors off the display or list them as anonymous, following your gift policy. Check the list before every publish.

  3. Refresh after each campaign

Add a campaign page when a project wraps up, with a photo of what was built.

  4. Place it where gratitude fits

An alumni center, front office or performing arts lobby suits a donor wall better than a busy cafeteria.
